A thousand years ago, our moon was home to a great civilization ruled by Queen Serenity. Everything was peaceful, until the arrival of the evil Queen Beryl. To conquer the moon, Queen Beryl unleashed the awesome power of the Negaforce. Although her world was destroyed, Queen Serenity’s last hope was the power of the Imperium Silver Crystal and the Crescent Moon Wand. Frozen in Moon Beam Crystals, the queen sent the Moon Princess and the children of the moon to the future on Earth, their memories lost to them all. Fifth Season: Sailor Moon Stars (Editor's Note: There are two different guides for this anime for the drastic changes involved in the English dubbed version. The English version came before the Japanese one on TV Tome and both were kept for their many differences. Some include voice actors, episode titles, original air dates, character names, plot lines and the deletion/combining of episodes; in fact, the Japanese title is longer. For these reasons and more the two guides have been kept and will remain so. One may argue that two seperate guides take up too much space. However, having one guide would also take up too much space. With TV.com's format, the difficulty of having different langauge voice actors great. When there is one guide (which is actually every other case on this site), most editors just choose the English voice actors, but this would not work with Sailor Moon because then the last season, missing episodes and specials would go uncredited. The guides are staying for now.) Sailor Moon is about Serena, a teenager who lives in Tokyo. She lived on the Moon Kingdom and was sent to Earth for protection. As evil rises, she and four of her friends must transform into the Sailor Scouts and save Earth, and the universe. Soon 4 more scouts appeared. 3 of which do not like working with the others. And the last Sailor Scout apears at the end of S Sailor Moon is the North American dub of the Japanese anime "Bishôjo senshi Sailor Moon". Sailor Moon was originally a Japanese comic, derived from the comic: Codename wa Sailor V. It was then turned into the anime we watch today! Main Villians (in order) - Negaverse: Queen Beryl - Doom Tree: Alan & Ann - Negamoon: Wiseman, Black Moon Family - Fiore and Kisinean flower(R movie) - Bureau of Bad Behavior: Pharaoh 90 & Dr. Tomoe - Snow Queen Kaguya and Snow dancers (S movie) - Dark Moon Circus: Queen Nehellenia & Zirconia - Lady Badyannu and the 3o'clock fairies (SS movie) - Sailor Galaxia (Chaos)(un-dubbed as of yet) F.A.Q.s Why don't the enemies attack when the scouts transform or power up their attacks? The transformations and fancy movements are just for the veiwers sake. Theoretically, the transformations only take a second. For example: Rini's transformation. The only attack that they could possibly get interrupted is the Sailor Planet attack. Why doesn't anyone recognize the scouts in either form? (ie Sailor Moon vs Serena) According to Ken Arromdee, the webmaster of a fan site, the Sailors are most likely magically immune to being recognized. But sometimes once you know them, you can see the resemblence. There is a scout for every planet, is there a Sailor Earth? There is no Sailor Earth exactly. Prince Darien/Endymion/Tuxedo Mask is the protector of earth. What is that building that looks like the Eiffel Tower? That is the Tokyo Radio Tower. It sends and recieves signals. AND in all jap anime, important events happen at it, or something else. For example, Kaorinight's death happened there. And in Cardcaptors, Sakura's Final Judgement happened there. And in Medabots 'Metabee's Last Stand', the tower was totaled! Also a major battle in Rayearth happened there. So in some anime SOMETHING always happenes to that tower. Why doesn't Rini look a thing like her parents ie red eyes and pink hair? In my own personal opinion, she may have been born during a total lunar eclipse. The red glow of the moon effected her greatly. What happened to Sailor Pluto at the end of S? After she stopped time? What happened is that it was forbidden for a guardian of time to stop time, even thoguh she could. She was supposedly killed for this. But when she returns in Stars, she will no longer be guardian of time. What do the symbols on Raye's parchment mean? What about when she does 'Celestial fire? The symbols on the parchment mean Akuryo Taisan, or loosly translated: 'Evil spirits begone'. The symbols behind Mars when she does "Celestial fire i Beleive mean, Sun, Moon, Star, Earth, Fire, Air, Water, Love. Why does Fiore(R movie) look so much like Ann and Alan from the Doom Tree Saga? Thats because its possible he's from the same race. During the Tree of Life's travels, he may have become too weak for her to support him, or he may have been one to go on his own, or taken by a sibling and left alone. What happens to Hotaru during most of Stars? She doesnt fight most of the regular battles, due to her poor health. After the battle with Nehelenia she goes back to her father, till the other girls need her. THEME SONG {The tune is the same as the Japanese, but the words aren't} Fighting evil by moonlight, Winning love by daylight. Never running from a real fight, She is the one named Sailor Moon. She will never turn her back on a friend, She will always be there to defend. She is the one of whom you could depend. She is the one named Sailor... Sailor Venus! Sailor Mercury! Sailor Mars! Sailor Jupiter! The Secret powers are so new to her, She is the one named Sailor Moon. Fighting evil by moonlight. Winning love by daylight. When the Sailors get to help fight, She is the one named Sailor Moon. She is the one named Sailor Moon. She is the one, Sailor Moon! Bad Guys Who Went Good Nephlite: He worked for Queen Beryl. He first off used Molly as a tool to get to Sailor Moon. But when Molly protected him from the tiara and the dark crystal reacted to her love, he too felt love. He protected Molly from Zoicite, which cost him his life. Ann and Alan and the Doom Tree: They are from a distant planet. They live with the Tree of Life(?) When the tree almost killed Alan (after killing Ann) Sailor Moon prevented it. It explained what happened. Sailor Moon Healed it. The Negamoon Sisters: Catsy, Birdie, Prisma, Avery They were used by Rubeus and WiseMan. After seeing that she was no longer needed, Catsy almost killed herself with the bomb Rubeus gave her. Sailor Moon healed her. Then after Mercury talked with her, Sailor Moon healed Birdie. Then soon came the other 2, Prisma and Avery. Saphire: When he found out what Wiseman was really up to he tried to tell his brother Diamond. He went to his old girlfriend, Prisma) and told her. Wiseman brutally killed him in front of his older brother for betrayal. Diamond After Wiseman killed his younger brother, Saphire, he started to think that Wiseman wasnt doing what was good for his people. He kidnaped Sailor Moon and told her that he wanted to change. But he soon ended up sacrifising himself to save her Wicked Lady (aka Rini's evil alter ego.): Wiseman corrupted her mind with dark memories, and turned her to the dark side. However, at the end of R series, Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts helped her turned back to normal, and even defeated Wiseman together! Fiore: An old friend of Darien's, they met shortly after Darien's car accident that killed his parents. Possibly from the same race as Ann and Alan. He was possesed by a Kinsinian flower, but When he saw that the flower that Darien gave him was the one that Serena gave to Darien. After the silver crystal sharttered, he gave his life for Serena as his present that he promised Darien. Sovereign of Silence(Hotaru's first evil alter ego): The Sovreign was the evil deformed voice that came from HOtaru. She sat in a high throne, Surounded by stuffed animals, in a locked room of the science department of Mugen School. She gave orders to Dr Tomoe. Once, Hotaru awoke in the throne, confused and scared. She ran to rini, only when the Soveriegn felt the power of Rini's silver Crystal, she was almost reveiled and HOtaru ran off. Mistress 9 (Hotaru's second, evolved, evil alter ego): After the Soveriegn swallow Rini's pure heart crystal, she turned into this 16 yr old woman. She has hair that has a mind of it's own. She tricked Sailor Moon in giving her the Purity Chalice, which she put in a chamber to feed its power to Pharoah 90, who in turn tried to kill her cuz he/it was finished with her. Hotaru's spirit kept trying to fight Mistress 9's and with her father's love and Sailor Moon's power, Hotaru's spirit won and she vanished. She transformed into Sailor Saturn who returned Rini's heart crystal. Sailor Saturn died and was reborn at the end of S. Dr.Tomoe: When his daughter was killed in a lab accident, he gave up his own body to save her soul, unfortunatly, hotaru's body was also possesed. When Garoban (evil white blob) was destroyed by Uranus and Neptune, he was healed, but left weak. His love helped Sailor Moon heal Hotaru. When Saturn used 'Death, Reborn Revolution, along with Super Sailor moons ultra powerful pure heart crystal she was reborn and the Dr's memory was erased, so he can start over with raising her. I think he's still a Doctor in genetics. Amazon Trio: Tiger's Eye, Fish Eye and Hawk's Eye: they worked for the dead moon circus. They were animals as indicated by their names. Tiger's Eye's victims were young ladies, Hawk was keen into older woman, and Fish was keen into men (which explains the sex change CWI gave him). When Fish Eye discovered that they didn't have dreams, she asked Zirconia. They were shocked when they found they weren't even human. Hawk's eye gave up his life to protect Fish, and Tiger's Eye and Fish eye gave up their lives to fix Serena's dream. Pegasus made them humans and gave them dreams and took them to Elision. Side notes on them: Fish Eye is terrified by cats, her circus trick was knife throwing; Hawk doesn't like the dark because he can't see, his specialty was fire breathing; not sure what Tiger's Eye hated, but he's an animal trainer and great with a wip. Amazon Quartet: Vesu-Vesu, Jun-Jun, Para-Para and Cele-Cele When they discover that they were betrayed by the Dark Moon Circus, they decided to help the Sailor Scouts free Pegasus. Afterwards, they lived in Earth as normal girls. In the Manga for Sailor Stars, they are the Amazon Sailor Scouts: Sailor Vesta, Sailor Juno, Sailor Pallas, Sailor Ceres. Sailor Galaxia: The Villian of Sailor Moon Stars. Unknown on how she becomes good again. (it will remain a secret for those who are dubies!) How old are they? Serena/Usagi Tsukino: Started when she was 14. By end of the show she was 16. Serena's birthday is June 30. Amy/Ami Mizuno (Anderson Seasons 1-2): Started at 14. By the end of show she was also 16. Amy's birthday is September 10. Raye/Rei Hino: Started 14, By the end of the show she was approx. 16. Raye's birthday is April 17. Lita/Makoto Kino: Started at 14, At end of the show, she was about 16. Lita's birthday is December 5. Note: Lita's parents died in a plane crash and that's why Lita is afraid of flying. Mina/Minako Aino: Became a scout when she was 12 or 13 in manga. She became Sailor Venus at 14. Mina's birthday is October 22. Rini/Chibi-USA Tsukino: Became a Scout at age of 10. By the end of the show she was approx. 11. Rini's birthday is June 30. Amara/Haruka Tenou: Started at age 16ish at the end she was probably 17 or 18. Amara's birthday is January 20. Michele/Michuru Kaioh: Started at 16ish, at the end she was probably 17. Michelle's birthday is March 6. Trista/Setsuna Meioh: Started probably when she was 18, eons ago, oldest scout, more than a couple thousand years, was killed for stopping time but returned to Earth to help the scouts. she looks 20. at the end ???. Trista's birthday is October 29. Hotaru Tomoe: Started at age 12, died using her powers of destruction and rebirth, was reborn thanks to Sailor Moon, returned as Saturn at age 12(after aging in 3days time) at the end she was 12. Hotaru's birthday is January 6. Note: Hotaru's name is pronounced: Hoe-tar-oo. Darien/Mamoru Chiba (Sheilds seasons 1-2): Started at age 19-20. At the end he was 20-21. Darien's birthday is August 3.
